The Lightnin Rod is patent protected technology that gives a visual indicator of part placement.
When the work piece is in full contact with the locating rod, the blue LED light shines brightly. A gap of .0005" or more disengages the LED light, signaling to the operator of a shift in the work piece.
Attach the Lightnin Rod to the back of your 6" vise using 2 bolts (included) and position as desired for precise locating.
